Our client in Dallas is looking for a dynamic Recruiting Coordinator to join their team.  The Recruiting Coordinator will assist in the daily functions of law school ‎recruiting and will report to the Law School Recruiting Manager.‎

Duties & Responsibilities ‎

  • Support the Dallas office regarding all aspects of the law school ‎recruiting program (summer, fall, etc.) and associate-focused programs
  • Coordinate venue logistics such as contract, budget, menu, room set-‎up etc. and calendaring for Dallas Recruiting/Development events
  • Plan and participate in Law School Hiring Committee Meetings and ‎Social Committee Meetings with the Firms’ Attorneys
  • Document and prepare all correspondence for the offices (decline ‎letters, database tracking)‎
  • Work with Head of Attorney Recruitment & Development and the ‎Firm’s CLE Manager on an as needed basis to coordinate development ‎and in-house CLE programs, as well as coordinate logistics for those ‎meetings on an as needed basis
  • Assist with preparation for new attorney arrival and integration
  • Create, track and maintain office recruiting budget, check requests and ‎attorney reimbursements
  • Track and report statistical data to the Recruiting Manager with respect ‎to recruiting and development efforts
  • Work with Head of Attorney Recruitment & Development on an as ‎needed basis to assist with Lateral Interview and Feedback process; ‎assist with lateral orientation and integration for Dallas office on an as ‎needed basis
  • Participate as a member of recruiting team to provide assistance to ‎other members of the team on recruiting/associate development ‎projects as needed
  • Actively serve in NALP and the city-wide recruiting organization

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.‎
  • ‎2 + years previous law firm experience in recruiting, marketing or ‎development with event management preferred or other professional ‎services firm
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
  • Possess the ability to work cohesively with all positions of the firm
  • Ability to work in a professional environment
  • Possess strong leadership skills as well as be a team player
  • Ability to work with little direct instruction on every day job tasks
  • Display meticulous attention to detail and follow-through; perform tasks ‎with high degree of accuracy; very strong organizational skills
