A well-respected engineering and manufacturing firm is looking for has an immediate opening for a Software Support Engineer at its Indianapolis, Indiana location.
The Software Support Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and developing technical solutions related to software and setup errors for field service engineers and customers in the machine tool industry. The Software Support Engineer will also create workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensures issues are resolved in a timely fashion. The Software Support Engineer will also assist engineering departments in development effort via software and mechanical testing.
Software Support Engineer Requirements:
- Requires a 2 - 4 year degree in area of specialty, or 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Outstanding troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Programming knowledge / experience a plus
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and analytical skills
