Are you an up-and-coming HR professional that is looking for a fast-paced and exciting environment to expand your knowledge and grow? Our client in Rye Brook, New York seeks a talented HR Specialist to wear multiple hats in recruitment, HR administration and employee relations!
HR Specialist Duties:
Talent acquisition – Put together postings for internal and external review; Arrange interview; Use ADP Workforce Now for applicant tracking purposes; college and career fair assistance
Write offer letters and be responsible for offer administration; administer pre-employment screenings
Coordinate internship program
Employee onboarding administration and oversight; intro to HRIS/Time & attendance system. Schedule and conduct New Hire 90 day reviews. Collect all I-9 forms and new hires forms
Employee relations - help employees with various questions and concerns, keeping HR department informed of complex and escalating issues
HR Specialist Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
HR Specialist Experience:
Three years+ HR experience REQUIRED. Exposure to television and media is a big plus. ADP experience is also REQUIRED.
