A leading company in the travel and leisure industry is seeking a creative-minded Full-Stack .NET Software Developer to help drive existing and future product development of company websites, web services, and databases. The direct hire position in downtown Indianapolis comes with good pay, free parking, comprehensive benefits and a gym membership stipend! This individual will be responsible for completing projects from conception to finished product, requiring extensive business analysis and attention to detail.

FULL-STACK .NET SOFTWARE DEVELOPER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development of both front and back-end websites, web services, and database architectures via .NET framework systems
  • Creating DDL and DML SQL scripts for database changes
  • Documenting business and technical project requirements via a statement of work
  • Designing and developing SOAP XML and RESTful APIs
  • Effective communication with both internal and external technical teams
  • Staying up to date with developments in web applications and programming languages

FULL-STACK .NET SOFTWARE DEVELOPER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree with three to five years of experience in an object-oriented programming environment using the Microsoft .NET framework
  • Expert knowledge of the C# or VB.NET programming language including the use of both BCL and FCL class libraries
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later and the T-SQL programming language
  • Ability to effectively develop and maintain both ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC web applications
  • Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with both SOAP XML and RESTful web services and APIs
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 and later
  • Working knowledge of version control systems including Team Foundation Version Control and Git source control repositories

FULL-STACK .NET SOFTWARE DEVELOPER HELPFUL ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of the travel and leisure industry is a plus
  • Some knowledge of networks and server infrastructure
  • Some knowledge of SQL Reporting Services
  • Some knowledge in modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular is a plus
  • Experiencing using Unified Modeling Language (UML) for project analysis and design
